Supertype Pista wheels are built with high profile composite rims and large flange hubs. This provides the very high levels of stiffness and lightness required by top-level track riders.
The wheels are completely hand assembled in two distinct phases. In the first phase the wheel is built with scrupulous attention to spoke tension, rolling resistance of the hub and lateral and vertical centring.
In the second phase, the wheel undergoes robust stabilisation to settle all the components in their ideal position. This is followed by final centring, after which the wheel is checked again for spoke tension, tilt and oscillation, all of which must fall within Miche’s strict tolerances.
The wheels are further tested by our quality control department, and only approved after strict controls with special measuring instruments.

Rims: 58mm deep integral carbon fibre. With a special shape to give excellent aerodynamics and a rigidity that guarantees high-level performance.

Hubs: Pista model with lightweight alloy forged body, CNC finished. Large flange and black anodised. High precision sealed bearings guarantee long lasting protection and smooth running.

Wheel kit includes wheel bags, Pista hub nuts, valve extension and sprocket lockring.
Built entirely in carbon fibre, the Supertype Disk wheel is born for extreme competitions. Its shape, stiffness and aerodynamic properties allow you to transmit all your power to the track.

Syntium Tube Wheels

Syntium wheels offer professional performance thanks to their stiffness and light weight. Available in both tubular and clincher versions, they also provide plenty of versatility. Smooth-running hubs together with lightweight alloy medium-profile rims ensure a rigid and direct ride. During building, spokes are pre-tightened and the wheel mechanically stabilised to bed the components in. Final machine truing and tensioning then takes place, optimising quality.

Rims: Available in both tubular and clincher versions, in lightweight-high stiffness alloy. Rear clincher rim has asymmetric profile.

Hubs: Body made of Ergal 7075, CNC finished. High precision grease-filled sealed bearings provide long-lasting smooth running. The freehub body is easily changed, and the cones easily adjusted – something that can even be done when the wheel is attached to the bike.
Wheel kit includes Syntium quick release levers, use and maintenance instructions.

SWR Full Carbon Wheels

The selection of materials used in the SWR Full Carbon wheels ensures a wheelset of the highest performance. A medium-profile front rim and high-profile rear rim combined with high stiffness and responsiveness give the rider confidence even when tackling consecutive curves on demanding roads. As well as lowering lateral wind resistance.

Rims: 38mm deep front wheel, 50mm deep rear wheel, in carbon fibre for improved structural stiffness.

Hubs: Ergal 7075, CNC finished body. Smooth running is guaranteed by a high-precision grease-filled bearing assembly, a technical solution that ensures longevity even when the bike is used in bad weather. The hub is simple and quick to adjust, with adjustment possible even when the wheel is mounted on the bike.

Wheel set includes XR quick release levers, brake pads for carbon rims, valve extensions, use and maintenance instructions.

Supertype "MT7" Pedals Set

The MT7 Pedal project has been developed with the following three targets in mind: to meet the market requirements with an absolutely lightweight product,
to ensure pedalling comfort by keeping the body surface wide, and to meet the
highest Miche quality standards. Made with technologies and materials that differ from the norm, these targets have been reached.

The lightened alloy body, axle in certified G6 titanium and anodised light alloy cartridge are all CNC machined. Movement is assisted further by the Iglidur ring and high precision bearings, while protection ensures the cartridge is dust and watertight. Cleats are made of non-wear carbon fibre.

The combination of these light materials has kept the weight of each pedal down to 139g. The pedals are equipped with an adjuster with tension display, to control the adjustment of the locking/releasing force. Maintenance of moving parts has been made easier thanks to a hole which allows direct lubrication of the cartridge and axle.

Supertype Carbon Brakes Caliper

The Supertype Carbon brakes feature a dual pivot caliper system that ensures optimum performance and precision. With stiffness maximised through the use of award-winning technology and materials, the carbon fibre is bonded to the inner forged alloy, making this an extremely stiff and light component.

Sintered brake pads, designed for use with carbon rims, couple perfectly with Supertype Carbon wheels. At the same time, rubber pads for alloy rims offer all-round versatility. A high-tech product that answers the demands of the professional and keen amateur racer alike, all the crucial features for first-class braking are present: safety, lightness, precision and durability.

Supertype 11V Cassette Sprokets

The Supertype 11-speed cassette features a new tooth profile for increased durability and compatibility with 11-speed gear systems. Sprockets are in Ergal 7075, CNC finished, heat treated and anodised, with HT thickness process to increase surface hardness. The grey anthracite colour is typical of the anodisation treatment used, while the lasered markings improve the aesthetics. The first position sprocket is made of heat treated steel, then chrome plated. The weight of the cassette is one of the lightest available: 154 grams.

Multiple teeth combinations are available, with steel first position sprocket from 11 to 14, Ergal middle positions from 13 to 27, and Ergal last position from 23 to 29. When an 11 tooth first position steel sprocket is used, a 12 tooth middle position steel sprocket is always supplied.

Supertype Carbon Crank set 11v

The new Supertype Carbon crank set is studied with high end features and it offers top level performances. The compatibility with the new 11 speeds shifting system makes the crank set a component that gives its best in professional competitions.

The cranks, with integrated bottom bracket axle system, are realized with the patented hard structure “Double Valves” system with multidirectional texture carbon fibre. The inner core is made of FOAM HD, the outer surface Plain Wave Carbon skin finished.

The 3K carbon fibre used satisfies the required high quality parameter, and are bonded by special resin to guarantee protection against UVA rays.

The available crank measures are: 170 – 172,5 – 175mm.

The Patented structural “outstanding” edging increases stiffness by 7% against flexing and twisting of the crank arms, also Patented is the replaceable drive bushings system. Automated production processes guarantee the highest standards of constant quality decided by Fac Michelin, making the Supertype Carbon crank set a high performance and durable product.

New chainrings 11 speeds compatible made of ERGAL 7075, CNC finished then Heat Treated to have higher rigidity and durability. Available also 10 speeds compatible.

The available teeth are: 50 – 52 – 53 for the larger chainring, and 34 – 36 – 38 – 39 for smaller chainring.

Supertype 358 Wheels

Totally renewed and featuring even greater stiffness to suit the growing demands of professional racers, the Supertype 358 wheels have been developed from the already highly successful Supertype wheels.

A low profile rim for the front wheel improves responsiveness when tackling downhill bends, and reduces lateral wind resistance. Thanks to new hubs, a reduction in weight of 140g has been achieved, making the total weight for the pair of wheels 1.245g.

Completely hand-assembled, spoke tension is scrupulously controlled to determine lateral and vertical alignment. Next, the wheel is hand manipulated to settle all the components in their ideal position. This is followed by final truing, where the wheel is again checked for spoke tension, tilt and oscillation, all of which must fall within the strict tolerances imposed by Miche.

Rigid carbon fibre rims, 38mm high for the front wheel and 58mm high for the rear wheel, have an aerodynamic profile that guarantees high-level performance. The hubs feature a carbon fibre body and light alloy flanges. Oversize hub axles in Ergal 7075 T6, with extremely precise SKF bearings, provide long-lasting smooth running. Cone adjustment is by means of a special nut, with adjustment possible even when the wheel is mounted on the bike.
